Meenu recently moved to Bangalore after finishing school and starting a job in the IT sector. Adjusting to life in a new city can be lonely, which is why Meenu was excited to hear about a women's hostel for working professionals. She quickly made friends with her roommate Reema and they spent their days working and evenings cooking together.

One evening, as Meenu and Reema were in the kitchen, they heard footsteps approaching from the stairs. They went to open the door and were greeted by a new girl named Jamini. Something about her seemed off, but they welcomed her in and introduced themselves.

Over the next few days, Meenu noticed strange behavior from Jamini. She would speak to herself late at night and even appeared to eat a horse. Meenu couldn't understand what was happening, but she couldn't shake off the eerie feeling. One day, Meenu's father called and revealed that Jamini's mother had passed away months ago. This revelation made Meenu question everything she had witnessed.

Later that night, in the darkness, Jamini confronted Meenu with her unsettling presence. She laughed maniacally and sang a haunting song. Meenu's alarm, playing the Hanuman Chalisa, suddenly went off and Jamini collapsed. She was later hospitalized and diagnosed with a heart attack.

Although the doctors attributed Jamini's condition to her mother's death, Meenu believes that an evil spirit had possessed her. She now wonders if it was her mother's spirit that saved her from the clutches of the demon. The mystery of that morning alarm at 7:30 AM still lingers in Meenu's mind.
